The Serving Box has become part of a large project that aims to revolutionize motorway parking, with Autogrill and Accenture.
The SMART project started from the Autogrill of Brughiera Ovest.
The focus of the project are technology, efficiency and quality.
The possibility of ‘mobile ordering’, which optimizes resources and offers a better customer experience, is one of the many innovations included in Autogrill.
It is possible to pre-order and purchase meals through the MyAutogrill app and collect them right from the dedicated lockers.
The Serving Boxes allow you to take meals directly from the box by entering a code on the touch screen and eliminating all the queue.
The displays, thanks to their cutting-edge technology, allow you to view messages regarding the order and how to unlock the box, but at the same time to see the meal contained inside.
Finally, all operations are carried out safely, as the box is equipped with sensors that block its movement in case of hand insertion.
